Looking for subtitle suggestions

i add lots of subtitles content inside pre. if think of "stock ticker" on cnn should give idea of desired output. getting started easy enough- drag 1 of "lower 3rd" titler presets nice background onto empty video track, change text, add effects , transitions.

 

now wanted duplicate overlay next scene same appearance different text. copy & paste of clip maintains appearance seems insert new instance of title , not copy. in other words when change text in 1 of clips changed in both.

 

then tried duplicate command in project window. makes duplicate of title won't preserve effects/duration/transitions of clip.

 

any recommendations ?

you want use duplicate lower-third title, many times, needed, , alter text on each, suit.

 

unless use duplicate title, have instances of "master" title, , if change 1 instance, global other instances. can confuse users, if not expect it.
