issue started on june 13th on machine running windows xp sp3 32-bit updates , ie8 (also happens chrome, latest version). audio in flash videos garbled / distorted / cracking / popping / stuttering. no youtube, pandora, grooveshark... in addition online resources, have same issues flash screen recordings on local hard drive play in browser window. windows media player works fine playing audio - it's when format flash garbling happens.
my flash version 11.3.300.257. tried troubleshooting steps (clear settings, delete cache, etc) nothing changed after closing instances of browser , reopening test.
my initial internet search landed me on this forum topic, got answered "please redirect questions flash player forum". there can see other people reporting same thing.
please see post latest update regarding sound issues flash player 11.3. since using windows xp, i've sent private message additional testing details.
