Thread: naming of files

hi people,
trying grip on settings:

on ask ubuntu, there nice manual on how edit "home folder launcher quicklist", , how automatically synchronize quicklist bookmarks, , got working well.
don't understand;

1.the manual tells me copy the

/usr/share/applications/nautilus-home.desktop -file

settings-file of launcher. however, out of curiousity looked in directory manually, couldn't see such file. when search te file "find", file name?? ("personal folder")

how can be?

2. right file (whatever nam is) "overruled" local (personal) settings file in
~/.local/share/applications?
