hi
a customer of mine produces weekly newsletter using acrobat standard. until used version 7 on windows xp has upgraded new computer windows 7 64-bit. result has had upgrade acrobat x standard.
the newsletter first created using html , converted pdf. in acrobat 7 possible create page breaks using css page-break-before , page-break-after styling commands. no longer works unless newsletter created distiller. various links 1 part of newsletter don't work.
why has support page-break-before , -after been removed? how can customer produce paged pdf used do?
regards
richard williams.
in absence of replies, have had write php script customer reads through html , splits number of files. splits takes place page-break-after styles encountered. there internal links, these rewritten point appropriate part file. parts combined acrobat x , gives required result. note if there's link such <a href='part2.htm#news'>news</a>, still work provided part2.htm 1 of files being combined.
