Thread: Trouble with graphics (asus ul30vt)

since 11.04 i've had lot's of problems , environment compromise. considering downgrading 10.10 didn't have issues thought i'd ask first.

subset of tings not working:
- quite graphical environment locks (both unity , classical gnome sessions), cant move or close windows , can't interact mouse. i'm getting errors like: "glib-gobject-critical **: g_object_ref:assertion `gdk_is_window (window)` failed"

- nvidia drivers graphics card not working. nvidia setttings says aren't in use. , when run nvidias tool generating x configuration x won't start.

- nautilus working consumes lot's of memory , runs slow.

- sudden x-restarts

system:
ubuntu 64bit
(same problems in 32- & 64bit versions of ubuntu)

hi , if activated driver using bug says not using it, if installed driver source might conflicting. there should 2 in there card had use 173 driver because new 1 caused me problems describe.
