Thread: How I [Solved] the Dwarf Fortress error: Not found: data/art/curses_640x300.png

since couldn't find solved threads on this, albeit closed 1 without answer on archlinux forum thought i'd post how solved here.

answer run sudo.

i've got icon in main menu , command wrote sudo sh /path/to/df, , has running in terminal. if don't want run in terminal try gksudo sh /path/to/df.

anyways hope helps someone!

if 1 using system should install custom content home folder. chown current installed files , sudo should't needed.
