Thread: EXTERNAL USB HDD - Read only

hello all,

have external usb hdd samsung, , mounts i'm unable write on it. telling me read file.

ls -l

the result this:

it funny date set 1969. don't know why.

formated in fat32, , i'm using ubuntu 11.04.

i'm new here on forums , been ubuntu user 3 years now.
