Account Activation - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

when user registers registered account remains not activated, unles activate through admin page. words when newly registered user creates account he/she receives confirmation email. despite user licks confirmation link , goes login page cannot login until activate account end. tried use in past admin confirmation cpomonent, component has been removed. seems part of comoponent still active or perhaps there thing block account activations, although have not installed other security components.

any ideas ?

there 3 options activation: none, user, administrator.
user manager->options button in upper right corner->component.
