Thread: Resultion 1680x1050 revert to 1280x1024 after upgrade to 11.04

hi guys,

had installed ubuntu 10.10 , screen resolution of 1680x1050.

after upgrade 11.04, screen resolution revert 1280x1024. monitor preferences not show 1680x1050 option.
ubuntu installs unify desktop.

doing following commands, resolution changed 1680x1050, desktop shows top , right bands black. launcher, dash, , top system row (the 1 has home button , logout button , others) shows ok (dash shows ok on black band). if move windows on "blacks bands" doesn't show (as if black bands out of desktop limits).

xrandr --newmode "1680x1050_60.00" 147.14 1680 1784 1968 2256 1050 1051 1054 1087 -hsync +vsync
xrandr --addmode vga1 1680x1050_60.00

attached hardware configuration, , xorg.conf used ubuntu 10.10.

i've tried removing xorg.conf , different configurations newmode (taken gtf, cvt, , other pages).
