Only the default menu working - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello there, have started using joomla , first site have ever created. have been following tutorial cloud assess http://www.[youtube].com/watch?v=qpzfgfwc ... re=related shows me basics. have created new categories - articles , menus , linked them 1 works defaut menu (the 1 yellow star). when go front end of site other menus come following error:

404 - category not found

you may not able visit page because of:

out-of-date bookmark/favourite
search engine has out-of-date listing site
mistyped address
have no access page
requested resource not found.
error has occurred while processing request.

if difficulties persist, please contact system administrator of site , report error below..

category not found

but when move star page, page works fine not 1 perviously set default.

i have followed in video no luck. wondering there not doing right or best way fix problem?
