Thread: Intel wireless / Sprint CDMA not working in network manager 11.04 on Latitude E4310

hello,

since upgrade 10.10 11.04, wireless devices me in plasma network manager applet not functioning on dell latitude e4310

specific problem: no wireless networks appear in plasma network manager applet. manually-configured networks not connect. separate cdma card appears, cannot establish connection. cdma card function on 10.10 machines, , formerly worked on machine.

wireless 'network' appears in plasma network manager widget 'hidden network'. manually adding network , checking "connect automatically" nothing. attempted fresh install after upgrade failed work. there no networks click on, , selecting device merely shows status page.

here's cdma-specific dmesg output:
code:

neither cdma card nor wireless networks working. if take exact same machine , boot disk 10.10, both work.

ideas?

here's image of plasma nm applet, showing no networks. (attached post)

note: if select "manage connections" , use scan feature in wifi, indeed see many wireless networks. adding them manually list not expose them in applet or allow use them.
