Thread: AIM for ubuntu?

anyone know why aim isn't available ubuntu? don't pidgin,mostly because when im window minimized , receive new message, doesn't flash orange.

code:

sudo apt-get remove indicator-messages killall gnome-panel

then shoud have pidgin's icon in notification area since no longer has mail icon hide under
