i'm @ end of patience. have tried both transmission , deluge torrent apps, , tried torrent 3000 seeds uploaded yesterday. in windows typically 700kb/s 1.5mb/s speeds on these torrents.
in ubuntu either client cannot above 60 or 70 kb/s. i've had 1 or 2 torrents have shown flashes around 500kb/s ridiculously slow speeds.
there can do?
one thing try upgrading network card/chip driver.
use lspci find out make/model of network card/chip.
go manufacturer's website , see if provide linux drivers. if do, provide instructions on how compile drivers kernel module , how install it.
used marvell network chip on previous pc , pretty providing linux drivers.
