Robots.txt disallow administrator - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello joomla friends

just wondering, on hosting, site in folder example: mysite

do have set robots.txt disallow: mysite/adminisitrator/

and should keep or remove this, disallow: /administrator/

can keep both of above safety?

robots.txt stops search engines indexing pages dont want them to, id doesnt have security except maybe avoiding having login page indexed (doubt happen anyway).

the path should relevant web root, i.e. if home page @ www.mydomain.com/mysite/index.php should disallow /mysite/administrator

thats not way websites set up, if see folders above website when browsing using ftp rest of internet see web root thats web server exposes.
