ANE Native extension freezes app when debug=false and using non-interpreted IOS build


there’s problem adobe air ios known, , problem has unknown variant that’s tricky.

 

the problem linking optimized flash , anes. if linker treats ane included swc, calls library hang app. work in adb simulator, , work in debug builds , in interpreted builds. manifests when release build attempted.

 

the known remedy problem specify ane code extern app, via external-library-path argument instead of library-path option.

 

what i’ve learned correct linkage specified, our apps show problem anyway. , reason calls between app , ane happen in non-first frame. simple test case of preloader on frame #1 , content on second frame “intern” symbols of ane, breaking application; in non debug, non-interpreted builds, ipa-test , ipa-ad-hoc.

 

adobe, please detect , report condition others won’t problems deal i’ve encountered. thanks.

i seem running freezes ane's , has been hard troubleshoot , came across post.  using flash cs6 not sure how apply remedy.  options in cs6 library path ane's 'merged code' , 'runtime shared library'.  merged, not sure if same issue or not trying here...
