i'm going start work on new ubuntu-based distribution. it's going similar edubuntu, built entirely portable systems in mind.
primary goals of oneiros project provide portable solution following:
- study
- research
- electronic text books
- dictionaries
- calculators
- thesauruses (thesauri?)
- word processing writing papers
target audience oneiros project students, or people in professions involve study, writing papers, or research need system portable. (classrooms, cubicles, etc)
once start work on oneiros i'm going looking above test out. i'm going including many drivers , kernel modules of wireless chipsets can acquire freely available , legal redistribute. same of software included. holding irc chat sessions testers can make suggestions , software requests.
if wants contribute time or effort oneiros project, feel free send me pm. can use hand things artwork, etc artistically inclined.
