i have old photos intend scan lr4 using canoscan 9000e - have negatives.
is there advantage scanning negatives v photos? scanning negs give me more control on post work in lr4
lr not care if scanned printed image or negative.
what afterwards inside lr solely depends on quality of scan result, want optimal.
typically scan negatives if have them available, in better shape print , scanner can scan several in 1 pass.
so experiment on quality of scan result , ease of scanning workflow.
