make applied effect continue for rest of slide until user continues to next slide

cp 5.5

 

i've applied heart beat effect highlight box , want box pulse long user stays on particular slide.

as of now, hightlight pulses couple times stops. yes slide 3 sec long , extend length of slide out to, say, 5 minutes , have effect last long until user moves next slide. , yes there's click box pauses slide until user continues.

but i'm hoping there's way both pause slide movement, continue pulse effect.

 

by by, did try extending time of slide 300 sec , noticed heart beat effect no long pulses same vigor did @ 3 secs.

this effect cannot looped play again. if extend effect on object longer time period, slow speed of effect , see pulse not of same vigor.

 

if have click box or button, pauses project, pause effect, these effects time based animation.

 

if want effect stay longer time period, , same speed, have apply same effect numerous times , allign them next each other in effects timeline.
