Best way to reset all form fields EXCEPT for 1

hi, have button on click event:

 

xfa.host.resetdata();

 

 

however, there's 1 field related form mechanics , not user interface calculates number of days.  want calculation remain after resetting form fields.  how can efficiently this?

i'm guessing loop trick.  field "open", reset.  calcuated field "readonly".  i'll implement , post results.

 

 

edit: actually, since calculated field on own page (no user input there) i'll make loop apply field not on page.
