Thread: No sound in 10.10 and fed up of trying to get it!!!!

hi,

i've been trying various suggestions of how sound in ubuntu 10.10 people had similar problems when upgrading keep making situation worse! i've had re-install because followed ubuntu support pages , wouldn't let me past logging in. trying else's solution i've lost sound came out of speaker test in system>preferences>sound!

obvious things covered check mute/user privileges set audio etc.

i've had problem sound on motherboard sound card stuck 1 in worked have 2 possible ones use.

so fed of trying sort out , i'll have re-install version third time i'm willing try sensible suggestions right now!

do sound in live boot of 11.04?
