Thread: Unable to Empty Trash Bin

i'm running ubuntu 10.04 , i'm having trouble emptying trash bin. i've tried emptying trash bin graphically items still in there. i've tried using nautilus empty trash didn't work either. need free space because i'm down 1.6 gbs of free space

dont know how fix directly if single problematic file restore , just

code:

sudo rm /path/to/fileyouneedremoved

bit of crappy workaround tho....
