Loss of Administrator Access - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i running joomla 2.5 on hostpapa account. after using back-end of joomla site on friday, shut down normal , left weekend. upon return on monday, went log in, (my username , password self populates fields) following message,

"username , password not match or not have account yet."

can still access hostpapa end, cannot gain access joomla site. unfortunately captcha turned off, cannot use refresh password.

i altered 1 user access in joomla back-end on thursday, , able access site on friday, not sure of problem.

is there work around? or in trouble?

you need access database site phpmyadmin.

if issue due changes acl levels there more try first
