Thread: Ubuntu Documentation > Community Documentation > AptGetOfflineRepository

i appreciate if can me clarify following contained in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ap...ine/repository.

1) "now, have store files in local ubuntu repository in same order. example:

* in /home/repository/dists/karmic have files: contents-i386.gz , release , release.gpg
* , in /home/repository/dists/karmic/main/binary-i386 files: packages.bz2 , packages.gz , release "

not sure whether have create above 2 directories specific version of ubuntu using e.g. /home/repository/dists/lucid

2) "use applications -> add/remove explained in repositories/ubuntu add offline repository, stored in /home/repository directory :

deb file:///home/repository suitecodename main restricted universe multiverse "

not find applications -> add/remove on lucid.
