i have ubuntu 10.10 on system76 pangolin. i've never had problem booting before, now, goes past bios screen, hangs blinking cursor. i've seen people suggest
ctrl+alt+f1
unplugging usb devices
holding shift load grub screen using e edit mode.
first 2 did nothing, , don't think 3rd working either. hold shift . . . word "grub" appear in upper left hand corner, right beside cursor continues blink , can't enter input.
i'm needing computer tomorrow too, why i'm posting @ 1 in morning.
i'd appreciate help!
thanks,
jim
i've been using 11.04 actually, pardon mistake. running in ubuntu classic mode haven't had problems booting ever before , i'd upgraded 1-2 months ago.
