Thread: Trouble with Web server

hello all,

newbie (please spear me), installed latest ubuntu 11.04 server , running fine. installed trial version of wing ftp server, seems working great. problem have port 80 being used other web server on machine. example when type http://192.168.x.x states following message listed below:
it works!

default web page server.
web server software running no content has been added, yet.

when type https://192.168.x.x, goes wing ftp server , loads up.

have verified dont have tomcat , apache installed. ideas forum?

page looks default apache web page. 100% positive apache not installed?

apaches default document root /var/www , if put page in there able access it? also, able see apache processes running?

try running in terminal , see get:

ps aux | grep apache

maybe have web server running nginx or lighttpd, may in to.
