Thread: Uncontrolled, Sporadic, log-off, not quite full Reboot

for past few weeks i've been experiencing strange issue never happened before.

i'll happily surfing internet using older toshiba laptop, clicking , scrolling using chrome, when of sudden, without warning screen snap black, act computer rebooting, fast log-on screen appear.

once log natty normal if i've turned on computer , logged in complete shut down.

have dual-boot system mint other boot option. never had issue there.

can't tell if there's sequence of clicking , scrolling initiates pseudo-restart or what. problem never seems happen when i'm sitting on 1 page doing writing post.

if wanted open tab , go grab link come here , paste in might have situation reappear. i'm moving fast system keep causes "burp" , mini-reboot.

said....it's not full-on reboot. quick black screen, standard log-in screen.

i'm reading thought i've not spent time using firefox natty. might there issue overworking chrome?

ideas might causing this?

or suggestions.

hi. specs of system? how old it? have cleaned out recently, because natty use few more resources previous release , laptop runs warm anyway. video card have?
