Joomla 2.5 Performance on Windows Server vs. a Linux Sever - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm developing website using joomla 2.5.4 , have hit number of issues in implement site. number of issues occurred in transition of site, developed on linux environment , moved windows 2008 server. on windows server, php 5.4.3 , mysql 5.5.24 has been installed while original linux server had apache/2.2, php 5.2.13, , mysql 5.0.77. default settings php set windows server while i'm assuming php setting have been optimize web developers. provide more context, windows server run our client while linux environment run our hosting provider.

my question how of effect php setting difference have on joomla framework , in best interest match these settings the linux server windows server increase site's performance and/or security?

iis 7.5 wonderful webserver , have lot of features . used both iis7.5 better , specially security issues have put strong hardware take advantage of ,also need expert (read , search) because not wizards things in windows it's different if go deep .. see ..
