Blog layout - strange subcategory articles listing - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello everyone,
i'm confused little important thing.

i have content tree this:

code: select all

- main cat. 1
   :few articles...:
- main cat. 2
-- subcategory 1
      :few articles...:
-- subcategory 2
      :few articles...:
-- subcategory 3
      :few articles...:
-- subcategory 4
      :few articles...:
-- subcategory 5
      :few articles...:


and have category blog menu item set show main category 2 subcategories.

but menu item lists only articles first 3 subcategories of main category 2.

all articles in 1 language, published , set public.

strange, isn't it?

what exact settings of menu item under blog layout options? if set use global, change , see. (you can find global options in article manager -> top right toolbar:options button)
