a quick question on proper use of these terms. cli install, no x, environment i'm in? when full gui installed cli "terminal emulator", right?
reason i'm wondering because have cli install , i'd customize prompt , such. when googling around tips, became apparent cli , gui versions same , yet different. there seems more info on customizing terminal emulator else.
i'm looking clarification on terminology can more specific in searches , questions.
terminal emulator allows users use tty within gui environment. terminal in gui same tty, except more compatible gui, such can execute commands require gui in terminal emulator.
