will system 76 support bluray burners or doing it?
visited hardware/laptop forum , person echoing earlier complaint of mine there precious little support hd movies. have hd video camera , lot of taped film of grandkids. edit , burn bluray disks. know many of new windows 7 laptops come bluray players , burners. (or is) system 76 following suit? how editing programs in ubuntu hd , bluray?
not interested in copying commercial bluray disks since costs outweigh , possible advantage. further, view movie releases once , wish see them second time, yet alone third time. personal view such copying ain't worth it.
i'm not system 76.
if camera saves on tape, , has firewire output, out of luck. delighted if people show me i'm wrong that.
can buy blu-ray burner on newegg , install in modern pc.
if camera saves sd card or hard drive, , has usb connector, should able copy hd video computer, edit in cinelerra , save blu-ray using nero linux. cinelerra has quite learning curve, "cinelerra grandma" terrific, , there many tutorials on youtube.
